We are just a group of local New Yorkers who absolutely love seafood—whether it’s finding the freshest catch to cook at home or discovering a new restaurant gem. The idea for SeafoodYum.com started because we were often searching for reliable, high-quality seafood spots and realized there wasn’t a great, easy guide for our area. So, we decided to build one ourselves. We are passionate about sharing the best of the ocean with our neighbors and fellow food enthusiasts.
Our journey begins right where we live: Queens, New York. Queens has an incredible array of diverse, high-quality seafood businesses, and we wanted to shine a spotlight on them first. As our project grows, our big dream is to become the ultimate seafood directory for the entire city. That means we’ll soon be expanding our coverage to include the four other amazing New York City boroughs—Brooklyn, the Bronx, Staten Island, and Manhattan—so everyone can find their perfect seafood spot.
